LFW came and went in a whirlwind but, as ever, brought sheer delight to the catwalk as well as to the 'fashion pack' (including
Cara, Jourdan and Kendall hanging out backstage). But for most of us it meant sneaking in some mobile live streaming whilst at work.
Nope? Just me then. And enjoying the catwalks through the wonderful capabilities of technology rather than sat on the Frow.
Erdem
Delicate, lazer-cut patterns. Embellishments. Metallics. Boxy tailoring. Erdem Moralioglu brought it all and I can't say we expecting anything less. The beautiful brocades and oppulent fabrics soften the structured shapes. It was difficult to choose just 8 looks from the catwalk.
Emilia Wickstead
She may not have been the biggest name at LFW this weekend but her designs didn't disappoint. Check out
this cool interview about the unconventional lady behind the brand. And the Duchess of Cambridge, a.k.a. K Middy to her pals, is a fan so how can we not love her? The mustard yellows and the full skirts had me swooning.
House of Holland
Henry Holland has always been one of my favourtie designers, I even bumped into him in a cafe years ago and we were wearing matching outfits
haha. His colourful, bold and wonderfully refreshing designs inject the fun and creativity back in to fashion. And his designs are perfect for all ages, I love them now as much as I did when I was 15! Look at these fabrics, look at the colours and look at the patterns. It doesn't get any more perfect for me than this
Eudon Choi
The furs (faux of course) in Eudon Choi's collection stole my heart. As ever it was about tailoring and the small details. One of my favourite collections of the whole week, if not the season (so far, at least - who knows what will come in Milan?).
Mary Katrantzou
The bold prints, which the brand is known for, took a muted and matured slant this season. The pieces were utterly feminine even with a darker colour palette and jewel embellishments.
